Fishing Pier

Whether you just want to check out the view, take a stroll, enjoy live entertainment at the pier's covered center stage, or fish all day long, visit the Apache Pier in Myrtle Beach. It's the East Coast's longest wooden fishing pier and it is open 365 days a year.

Bait & Tackle Shop: A complete supply of fishing gear, bait & tackle is available in the Apache Pier Bait & Tackle Shop. Rod & Reel rentals are available at daily rates.

SPECIAL EVENTS ON THE PIER: The Apache Pier welcomes groups including motorcoach tours, family reunions, and wedding parties. To inquire about using the pier facilities for your special occasion, call the main office at (843) 449.7323 or toll free at (800) 553.1749

2/3/12 Apache Pier will be having a February BOGO. Enjoy another day of Fishing on us with "February BOGO". Fish today, Fish free tomorrow. Show your receipt at gate and redeem at pier. Expires 4 days after date of purchase. Free fishing day for number of paid fishing passes on receipt. Fish of the month for is February is Black Drum, the largest Black Drum caught for the month will win a $25.00 Gift Certificate to the Apache Pier Bait & Tackle shop. Check out our photo gallery, we have several items listed that we carry and will ship for free. As of July 1, 2009 all individuals recreational fishing in saltwater from shore (beach, bank, dock, free public pier, etc.) will be required to have a fishing license. You do not need to have a fishing license to fish on Apache Pier. However there is a charge to fish on the pier. Hours of operations starting February, 2012 will be 7 AM to 6 PM.
